Remember that awesome Shark Tank project where we helped build a greenhouse for Northside Elementary/Coulee Montessori? Well… it’s thriving, the kids have been using it as their outdoor classroom, and now they’re hosting a plant sale to keep the growing going! And they could use our help to make the event bloom. Volunteer Opportunities:
If you can’t stay the whole time, set-up and clean-up are where extra hands matter most. This is a perfect chance to revisit the greenhouse we helped bring to life, see how much it’s grown, and support the students who use it every day. Plus—plants, sunshine, and community energy make for a pretty great Saturday. |

Join us for a social at the Sweet Beats Jazz and Dessert Lounge! Thursday, May 14th from 5:00-8:30pm We will be seated in the upper balcony. Drinks and appetizers can be purchased. Music is from 5:30-8:30 and features Guitar and Vocalist Mark & Janette Hanson. They blend folk and jazz into a warm, story-driven sound. With Mark’s folk-inspired acoustic guitar and Janette’s jazz-honed vocal stylings, the duo creates intimate, melodic songs that connect deeply with listeners. All are encouraged to attend and check out this sweet new spot in La Crosse!

It's time to honor our Veterans with Memorial Day Flag Placing at Oak Grove Cemetery! This is a rewarding event, placing flags in the cemetery for veterans in honor of Memorial Day.
We will have the same section of the cemetery as we usually do, on the East side of East Ave. I will be getting the list and flags from a different area of the cemetery at 5pm, so should be to our section by 5:15. We may also have a second section this year! The details on the second section will be relayed to everyone when we meet in our regular section.
If you are planning to join this event, and are unfamiliar with the cemetery, here are the directions - from La Crosse St, turn North onto East Ave, going toward the marshes. Take a right into the entrance of the cemetery, then take the first left. Our section is in the back corner of the cemetery that runs alongside East Ave.
