Good Afternoon RAH Family,

As many of you know, my life recently changed in the best possible way; I welcomed a new baby into my family. Like many big life moments, it has caused me to step back and really evaluate how I spend my time.

When a new chapter begins, you quickly realize that time becomes more precious than ever. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything you once did, and that reality forces you to make choices on your life. You start asking yourself an important question: What fills my cup? In this season of life, I have had to cut out and dial back several things; however, one thing I have intentionally kept is Rotary.

Rotary fills my bucket. It gives me purpose. It grounds me in the middle of busy days and reminds me that being part of something bigger than ourselves matters. Rotary provides connection, service, perspective, and friendship. It checks many of the boxes that make life meaningful to me.

I suspect this is why so many of us find our way to Rotary and why we stay. In a world where our schedules, responsibilities, distractions, and commitments compete for every minute, Rotary remains a place where our time feels well spent. The work we do, the people we meet, and the impact we make together continue to remind us that service above self is not just a motto. It is a way of living a fuller life.

As we all juggle work, family, and the many demands on our time, I encourage each of you to reflect on the things that fill your cup. For many of us, Rotary is one of those things, and I’m grateful that we get to share that purpose together.

Thank you for being part of this club and for the ways you each contribute to making Rotary meaningful.

Your Fellow RAHtarian,
