First July service project prepares Riverfest for its 37th year

Despite the heat, humidity and constant threat of rain and showers, a dedicated group of RAH volunteers helped the club stake its claim for volunteer funding courtesy of La Crosse Riverfest by once again setting up fencing. Blisters prove the pounding nature of driving in the posts, and the seemingly endless lengths of fencing dragged the work well into the evening and into the afternoon on Tuesday. Riverfest board members who helped guide the way said they were grateful once again to have RAH's help with this vital task--especially with the construction compromising the bandstand area this year.

Riverfest relies on volunteers for much of the work to make the now 37th annual event a success. The festival in turn pays it forward to the groups that help out by providing funding to organizations like RAH. We would like to thank Riverfest for their continued support. Here's to a safe and happy 4th!
