We are soaking up our final hours with Giorgia before she heads home to her family eagerly awaiting her in Italy. 🇮🇹 Cue the waterworks!
At her last RAH meeting, she took us on a journey through her year in the U.S.A., sharing favorite memories and highlights from the past 12 months abroad.
We celebrated Giorgia-style with fettuccine Alfredo and Crumbl cookies - her request! We ended by playing games, one of the many things Giorgia has loved doing during her time in the United States.
Grazie mille to her wonderful host families, the Piggush's, Addington's and Blackbourn's, for opening your hearts and homes to her. Rotary Youth Exchange would not be possible without families like yours who welcome students, share their lives and help make another country feel like home. Thank you to our Youth Exchange Committee for all you do!
In the words of the wise Bill Pritchard - “Giorgia, the love we feel for you stays forever. The connections you’ve made in this room and throughout our community do not go away. They are forever. You have been a remarkable ambassador for Italy and for all Youth Exchange students. We will never forget you. We love you!”
