Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Black River Beach! ❄️💦
Hundreds of brave participants plunged into the chilly waters of the Black River to support Special Olympics Wisconsin and its year-round inclusive sports programs. The energy was high, the costumes were creative, and every splash helped make a difference.
RAHtarians were there to lend a hand with security, assisting at the changing tents, and manning the hot tubs - a welcome sight for plungers warming up after their icy jump! A couple of our own even took the plunge themselves.
It was a special day for some very special athletes. Congrats to everyone who jumped in and helped raise funds for Special Olympics!
