The RAH sHARks have decided! πŸ¦ˆπŸ’ΈπŸ¦ˆ

Three equally worthy projects swam with the sHARks at our April 25th meeting, all vying for a bite at up to $5,000 funding from the club and a possible Rotary District 6250 grant to double the total. You got that right folks - $10,000 was on the line!

After the pitches and voting, the plan to purchase a Greenhouse for students at Northside Elementary/Coulee Montessori knocked out the competition.

Our 3rd annual event provided entertainment, education, opportunity, and hope. Here's a quick summary of the projects:
*Sustainable Transportation for La Crosse Community Theater - bringing theater performances and education to the community and school children, by providing funding to go towards a new box truck. πŸŽ₯πŸš›πŸŽ¬πŸŽ
*All Abilities Playground at State Road Elementary - adding an all-abilities ramp to enhance the playground equipment for all students to be able to play on. πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦½πŸ‘«πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦½πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦―
*Northside Elementary Greenhouse - Provide funding and labor to build a living classroom for students at Northside Elementary/Coulee Montessori School. The greenhouse will provide a living classroom for students to grow fresh, healthy food and enhance their educational learning of plants and the environment.πŸŒΏπŸ“πŸŒ±πŸ₯•πŸͺ΄
