The Ugly Sweater 5k Presented by Emerj360 is in the books!

Thanks to all who came out and ran, walked and/or volunteered or just showed up to cheer. We had over 400 registrations and a record amount of sponsorships this year. Money raised from the Ugly Sweater 5k allows us to do great things and projects in our community. (Start thinking about Shark Tank 2023 projects to pitch!)

There are so many thank you's to give, but we'd be remiss to share a huge thank you to James Murray for his leadership and great work as event chair. James tirelessly worked for months to ensure it was a successful event for our club and participants, even recruiting his family to help throughout. Next time you see him, make sure to thank him. No doubt the stress added some greys to help with his Santa beard for next Christmas!

Thank you also to Brad Burke, Brandon Harris and Neil Weiser for being the lead men for course logistics. Those were a lot of cold hours spent outside all weekend! It takes an army to pull it off and we appreciate everyone who lended a hand.

Of course, our annual tradition of celebrating with cold drinks (and warm toes) at Howie's on La Crosse continued! ❤️🎄🍻
Check out all of our UGS5k event photos!

It was a holly, jolly Rudolph party volunteering at Rotary Lights!

Over 3 million lights, carriage rides, s'mores and 5 million food items collected the past 28 years! Rotary Lights, is the crown jewel of La Crosse from Thanksgiving to New Years Eve. Rotary After Hours volunteered at the park and witnessed the sheer joy and generosity of those who visited. Over 3,000 volunteers supply the people power to make the festivities in Riverside Park happen year after year. ☃️🎄❄️

News 19's Roger Staffaroni went live from Rotary Lights as it entered the home stretch for 2022. How many RAHtarians do you count?

Get Ready! March is Membership Month in the House of RAH!

Why did you join Rotary? Was it:

  • To get more involved in your community through volunteering opportunities?
  • Meet new amazing like-minded people?
  • Learn to be a better leader?
OR maybe it was to
  • Expand your network?
All great reasons and your inclination to join is most likely different than mine. The uniqe and great thing about Rotary After Hours (RAH), is that the club offers something for everyone! You can stick to what brings you purpose and passion, or you can do everything on RAH's calendar.

Socials - yep! ✔️
Networking - you bet! ✔️✔️
Service - it's what we do (a lot of!) ✔️✔️✔️

March will be a special month of RAH activities welcoming new and prospective members and encouraging those we haven't seen in awhile to come hang out! You are encouraged to share an inite, or two, or three, or ten with someone outside the club to help RAH grow and increase the impact we can make in our world. Stay tuned for incentives and inner club competition details for those that bring the most guests to check out RAH.

The March events will all be ones you won't want to miss! More information and sign-ups to come.
