It’s been a few years since we last teamed up with Friends of the Blufflands to care for our local prairies, and we’re excited to jump back in. This summer, we’ll be tackling invasive sumac using the first step of their “double‑cut” method — an herbicide‑free approach that helps native plants thrive.

Come spend a beautiful morning outdoors, make a real ecological impact, and connect with others who care about our natural spaces.

Join us to celebrate our wonderful YE student, Giorgia! She will give her end of year presentation and all she has learned, experience and enjoyed in La Crosse- and with us! We will celebrate her and say goodbye as she departs back to Italy on July 20th. We will miss her sooooooo much!

For all of the hard work RAH has been doing, it’s time for us to spend some time celebrating all the good we do in our community and enjoy our time together as friends.

Please join us for a Picnic in the Park on August 1st at Chad Erickson Park. You’re welcome to bring your family or a guest, but we’d like to keep it among our members so we can focus on celebrating one another.

Food and beverages will be provided, just bring a chair or two if you'd like, and signup to bring a fun yard game!

Join us for an off-site meeting and tour of Haven on Main. 

Haven on Main is a 70-unit inclusive houseing development located in downtown La Crosse and is designed as an independent living community where adults with special needs or disabilities live side-by-side with non-disable residents, local workers and seniors. Developed through a partnership between the nonprofit developer Couleecap, the advocate group Haven for Special People and the Gerrard Corporation, construction began in September 2025 and is slated for completion late 2026.

There will be no meeting fee or food served. Join us for our first after meeting monthly social at Bodega following the meeting.

Join your fellow RAHtarians and Coulee Region Rotarians for a special evening at the 36th Annual Avenues of Service Dinner on Wednesday, August 12th.

We’ll come together to celebrate the incredible work of our clubs and honor this year’s Rising Stars and Rotarians of the Year.

Event Details:

• Location: La Crescent Event Center, La Crescent Minnesota
• Time: 5:30 PM - Social Hour & Basket Raffles, 6:30 PM - Dinner, 7PM - Program
• Cost: $45 per RAH member after a $10 contribution from After Hours. No payment is due at registration. RAH will bill all members/guests registered as of July 31. Guests welcome!

• Dinner choices include:
  • Braised Burgundy Beef Tips (6 oz tenderloin tips slow-braised in a rich velvety cabernet-demi sauce 
  • Pan-Seared Salmon with Honey-Avacado Butter (8 oz North Atlantic filet seared for a perfect crust, then topped with our honey-avocado butter)
  • Vegetarian Gluten Free Cauliflower Crust Flatbread with mushrooms, peppers, onion, black olives, broccoli with a cheese blend and red sauce
  • All choices include: Garden salad, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasoned roasted vegetables, dinner roll and dessert.
• Raffle Baskets: Support the Rotary Works Foundation! Preorder tickets ($20 for 25) when registering, or bring cash the night of.

Important:

• Registration CLOSES at the end of the day on Thursday, July 30th so sign up soon. There are no walk-up tickets available night of. (All registrations are done on Rotary Club of La Crosse's page)

Moblie Meals delivery is each day for a week. Pick up the meals at 10:30 and are typically done delivering the meals by 12:30 at the latest. This is a 1-2 person event each day and is family friendly. 

A sign up will be created for each day.

We will welcome this years Youth Exchange student Gerva from Argentina!

He will share more about himself and what he looks forward to during his year with us. His first family is our very own Ashley Santolin and fam! Be sure to introduce yourself and welcome him to our RAH family.

What is RYLA? We will also hear about La Crescent High School students who attended RYLA this past May who will share their experience and how the weekend impacted their life. This is a great meeting for newer club members to learn more and how to get involved with RYLA.

Are you curious where all of the Rotary Lights displays are stored, designed and the magic is made?

Join us for an off-site meeting at the Rotary Lights warehouse. We will be given an overview and tour from Executive Director Scott Lundeen. Friends and guests are encouraged to attend to learn more about what all goes into the light display each holiday season.

There is no meeting fee or food for this meeting. Please join us at Bodega for our after meeting social (every 1st meeting of the month)

Welcome District Governor, Scott Ryan!

DG Scott is a Holmen Rotarian and will be serving District 6250 during the 2026-2027 year! He will share his vision and leadership for the upcoming year. This is a great meeting to learn more about what happens at the district level with committees and ways to get involved.
