With four (very) heavy suitcases, plenty of tears and full hearts, an entourage of friends, host family and RAHtarians said ciao to Giorgia and sent her home to Italy.
We are so proud of the person she has grown to be and grateful she chose to spend the year with us. From new traditions and experiences to everyday life in Wisconsin, Giorgia soaked it up.
Rotary Youth Exchange reminds us that building peace starts with getting to know one another. By sharing our homes, cultures and everyday lives, we discover that we are far more alike than different.
